Emergency Shelter
Since 1979, our Emergency Shelter Program has consistently offered food, shelter and support services to individuals and families who are victims of domestic violence and child abuse. The 30-day emergency shelter can now provide emergency housing to 22 clients. The program provides individual and group counseling, transportation, emergency food, and clothing assistance in addition to case management, legal advocacy, CalWORKs assistance, temporary restraining order (TRO) preparation and submission, court accompaniment, parenting education, transitional services, and an on-site school.

Transitional Shelter
The Transitional Shelter Program has been assisting individuals and families with the transition from crisis to independent living since 1996. This one-year residential program provides housing for up to 24 individuals. Residents at this site are offered individual and group counseling and case management, including assistance with household establishment, job skills training, CalWORKs advocacy, and transportation.
