Goals
Su Casa’s current action plan is based on goals and objectives in the agency’s 2005-2010 Strategic Plan. Su Casa’s Executive Director facilitated the strategic planning process that actively engaged all staff, Board and Advisory Board members and incorporated a focus group with community leaders nominated by Su Casa’s stakeholders. Adopted on September 28, 2005, the plan includes goals, objectives, strategies, target dates and accountabilities identifying both pertinent staff and Board committees.
First year goals include:
- Increase opportunities for clients to access our services.
- Evaluate and implement age-appropriate services for children.
- Increase and enhance services to all clients.
- Expand community outreach and education to potential clients and referral sources.
- Develop and implement program evaluation plan.
- Develop a protocol and plan for emergency response.
- Improve client outcomes as measured by individual service plans.
- Increase and enhance community resources and networking.
- Enhance staff training and meetings.
- Improve safety and security equipment at all Su Casa sites for both staff and clients.
- Expand Su Casa’s role as a proactive advocate for social change.
- Maintain all ongoing programs and services.
- Increase private monetary contributions.
- Increase in-kind donations.
- Increase public awareness of Su Casa.
- Update administrative documents and policies.
- Increase agency’s revenues
Our 3-5 year goals include:
- Develop and implement a community needs assessment.
- Expand services for underserved communities based on results from community needs assessment.
- Purchase, lease or expand Su Casa facilities based on results of community needs assessment.
- Expand Su Casa's role as a proactive advocate for social change at the state and national level.
- Improve staff benefits.
- Increase revenues by year 3 to $2 million; year 5 to $3 million.
- Acquire new facilities for Su Casa Outreach Center, Transitional Shelter, Crisis Shelter, and Administration.
